OMG I love this place. The Spicy Shusumi Salad is delicious I can eat it every day. The beef pho is one of my favorites and so is the Dolsot Bibimbab. Great service too.
Great combination Japanese and Korean restaurant I have found near Leavenworth or even Kansas City. Being from the West coast, we have a large Asian community with fantastic food. This restaurant is as good as some the ones out there. Fantastic sushi and sashimi. While slightly spendy for Kansas, the quality is worth it.
I always enjoy the sushi here!
I've never had sushi that was heated up in a microwave until I ate at this place last night. The sushi might have been ok if it hadn't been heated up. Volcano rolls and spider rolls aren't meant to be heated. I won't be eating here again.
Have only eaten here once. Located in a very old building. Old enough it made me question my decision to come here from the looks of the outside. Turned out pretty well. Seaweed salad was good. Miso soup was okay. Ginger salad was okay. Food was not quick, which is good because that means that actually made it fresh but bad if you're on a one hour lunch break. Would return here to try more items. Sushi roll was good, but far from the best I've had. It was well presented though. They have a wide variety of items on their menu. A special lunch menu as well. Fried rice, sushi, sashimi, bento boxes. Is recommend trying the Heart Attack. Jalapenos stuffed with spicy tuna then fried.
Good folks, and delicious food. I enjoy the variety of sushi, alongside Galbi, Spicy Pork, and Bulgogi. Washed down with Thai iced tea, it gets me my "fix", when I am in town.
I love their $10 lunch specials
The vegetable protein roll makes a lovely, cool dinner on a hot day!
I love this place. A real sushi chef creates the rolls. The miso soup served before your sushi is delicious. I like that it is a small place and a more intimate setting than other venues. They have all kinds of rolls available including sashimi, specialty rolls, and a sushi plate for the kiddos. There is also awesome teriyaki chicken that your kid will devour. Give this place a try and you wont be disappointed!
This place is 110% authentic!!!!!! It's AMAZING! It's so good I ate there three times in one week:/ be cautious! It's addicting:)
Quiet restaurant near the base. Very good food. Soup was excellent and sushi was amazing!
I've been going here for more then three years. Food is delicious and service is great. This restaurant is family owned and they just opened a new location in Lansing named Sushi Garden.
I am a frequent customer. Mr. Kim is a true artist and awesome personality. The Mrs. rocks in the kitchen too. The staff here know how to treat a customer too. Service is great. The décor is ok considering the location. Hopefully soon with their continued success they can move to a better location or improve that. The menu is pretty extensive and the food is very good. I would like to see a larger portion option of Nigiri than the Osaka Sushi Combo on the menu but most are pretty sufficient.I think the pricing is ok, some have stated it is expensive but good sushi usually is and very well worth it.
Not bad. Small place. Appeared clean. Sushi was decent.
Haven't tried the sushi yet, but the Pho is quite good. Excellent service as well.
Place is pretty good all around. Had the Gangnam style sushi roll, spicy tuna roll, chicken katsu, and spicy chicken teriyaki. The rice is good along with the small salad and miso soup served initially. This little place is a nice alternative to the American fare nearby.
The sushi was dry, the people working behind the counter were rude. THEY WANTED TO CHARGE FOR SOY SAUCE....can you believe that crap..who charges for soy sauce at a Japanese restaurant? DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE..
As always, the sushi was the best in town and the wait staff is friendly. Great place!
Food is good, but bad customer service. She gave our food to another table that came in after us. Didn't bring our full order out, had one server serving 7 tables plus additional duties in the kitchen. She added items on my receipt I didn't order. And barely understood her and she was frazzled.
Truly one of the best meals in my entire life. Incredible presentation and super fresh everything. A must
Expensive for what you are getting. I would rather go into North Kansas City or Legends and get a nicer ambiance than this place offered.
The go-to place in the area for sushi and most Asian food.
I love everything I've tried at Osaka, I keep coming back for more all the time. I also love that it isn't a chain, its a local business. Service is always great, and food is delicious.
Never had sushi before. They were very helpful in choosing types I would like. Food was excellent. Service was excellent.
We have been patrons since this little restaunt opened. The owner/operators are incredibly kind and the food is excellent. It is obvious that a LOT of talent is involved in the sushi chef makes. Great food, great price and great staff. We love it! This place is a little jewel in such a small town!
This is no longer a sushi restaurant, only Korean food. The food and service are okay, but the menu is very limited and portions smaller than they used to be.
Delicious maki rolls, Asian fusion cuisine, and friendly small town atmosphere.
Absolutely love the food! The Sushi is the BEST, fresh and mouthwatering! Highly recommend this place.
Cheap, delicious, AUTHENTIC sushi. Miso soup is really good too :)
The food was good. Although the sushi wasn't as fresh as I would like it, but what can you do when you are land locked. The service was good, but could be improved on.
Spent 4 years in Korea eating fresh killed fish. This place is outstanding. The Bento lunch box is huge and a fresh.
